As professionals, we perform a complete inspection according to the NFPA 25 standards, which govern the minimum requirements for the periodic inspection, testing and maintenance (ITM) of water-based suppression systems.

Our work consists of:

• Verifying that the sprinkler room is properly identified;
• Checking if the system operates with air or water;
• Detecting the presence of rust and flaking paint in the piping;
• Ensuring proper pressure on the pressure gauges;
• Checking that the data sheet is securely attached to the riser and legible;
• Inspecting the hydraulic bell (if present);
• Checking that there is a spare sprinkler head box in the building in question;
• Ensuring that the check valve and water trap are functioning properly;
• Verifying that the source of supply is from the municipality;
• Ensuring that the butterfly and check valves are in the proper position;
• Checking if the system is connected to the fire alarm panel;
• Check that the connections are clean and protected by caps;
• Check that the connections are visible and accessible with a sign;
• Inspect the movable ring, the threads and the seal;
• Check the non-return valve for leaks.
